News From The Author

Hello! I haven't added here any new posts for over two years now, but I see you still read my story, and that's absolutely insane! Thank you! I'm writing this post to give you some news that you maybe don't know about. Well, I have published two books since I stopped publishing here - Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books... & Laura's Diary - My Awesome Life . And I got a new blog now. It's called Get Inspired ,   and it's about my own cultural news. I also have a store with signed copies of my books, and there is a very nice merch that you can buy cheaper thanks to The Christmas Sale now. You can consider buying anything from me until midnight 27th December CET if you wanna save money and maybe buy presents. Oh, and I have a podcast where I talk about poetry and music. I mean it's an audiobook and commentary kind of thing where I talk about the meaning and inspiration that made me write certain works. It's called Romantic Wednesdays With...

Voyage playlist

Hello! I decided to create a little playlist inspired by "Elizabeth in Rome" Chapter so it's all about traveling. Check out below what I chose to be a part of it.

M.I.A. by Sheppard

This song is about breaking away from the state that was so heart-breaking. It was a world where you couldn't feel you live and you didn't get what you deserve. The only way to achieve peace became to go out and admire a world of nature - birds, blue sky and ocean breeze.

Harleys In Hawaii by Katy Perry

I used to love this song... Today it leaves a bitter-sweet taste on my tongue but this song still perfectly fits this playlist.

Gasoline by HAIM, Taylor Swift

I feel like this song may sound great in the car... or carriage. Yeah, I can totally imagine Elizabeth singing along... Also, it's definitely my favourite song now. It's stuck in my head.

Ain't No Way We're Goin' Home by R5

One of my favourite tunes about traveling since 2013. It's full of energy and it just makes you want to get up and do something.

Youngblood - 5 Seconds of Summer

A song with electric guitar vibes is what I like the most when I go to places.

Joan of Arc by Little Mix

This song really fits the story, I think. Song about French heroine of war between England and France sung by British band. Genius! Track full of women's power. I love it forever.

I Got So High That I Saw Jesus - Noah Cyrus, Miley Cyrus

I think this is a song that really needs to be heard nowadays. This positive message is something that people need, I think. Also, it fits my story and those mystical references.

Take Me Away by The Driver Era

Melancholic tune about escaping from reality. One of my favourite songs by this duo.

coney island by Taylor Swift, The National

This song is magical and got me emotional. Also, Elizabeth went to an island in one of first notes of the second volume. So it had to be here, right?

Greyhound by Ashton Irwin

Rock song that describes a crazy run for nothing. We live in a world where it became hard to stop so it means it's nothing but perfect for this playlist.

Escape (The Pina Colada Song) by Riker and The Beachcombers

Catchy fun song good for summer sightseeing or sunbathing. I had to put it here.

EMT by Ellington

Another song which deserve its place here. It's so encouraging to go for a trip, you know. Just not to feel empty, you know.

right where you left me by Taylor Swift

I think it's a good way to close this playlist with the song which is all against any movement and moving on. Absolutely magical song, so moving. I love it.

More songs you can find on my playlist here.

Such a photo for attention.
