Hello! I haven't added here any new posts for over two years now, but I see you still read my story, and that's absolutely insane! Thank you! I'm writing this post to give you some news that you maybe don't know about. Well, I have published two books since I stopped publishing here - Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books... & Laura's Diary - My Awesome Life . And I got a new blog now. It's called Get Inspired ,   and it's about my own cultural news. I also have a store with signed copies of my books, and there is a very nice merch that you can buy cheaper thanks to The Christmas Sale now. You can consider buying anything from me until midnight 27th December CET if you wanna save money and maybe buy presents. Oh, and I have a podcast where I talk about poetry and music. Welcome to my blog!

Welcome, dear reader!

I'm really glad to see you. Do you want to know what it's about? It's a literary blog where every Wednesday I add new pieces of my new novel Great Lady's Diary. This is a historical, philosophical, psychological and romantic story which will take you to another world. It's based on real historical characters, places and stories (I love history and I am a student of Polish Philology; curently 4th year) but it's all wisely changed to create an unique work of fiction. But still you can learn a lot about 19th century and that's one of my main purposes.

This story is all about love. I present here the history of two lovers - Elizabeth and William - who are a happy marriage now, although they have tough past written on their's foreheads. If you like sweet type of stories - you're in a right place.

What is it also about? Probably a discourse of crazyness, I mean main character is dealing with mental illness - she's histerical. I had been wondering how to heal her for londest time and very soon you can learn what solution I found. It's something natural, psychoanalisis wasn't known yet. I can't say more. No spoilers! But I can say that the mother from Pride and Prejudice written by Jane Austen was my inspiration. Maybe you will also find her here... I don't know. You can only check it out to see.

Last but not least - it's also a story about a bad boy of 19th century. Well, maybe he only seems to be like that? Maybe he wants to be seen this way? Who knows?

I'm warning you - it won't remind anything you know. My story is a translated Polish book which I am writing at the same time. I have known Polish literature my whole life (well, that's 22 years) and technically it will always be Polish, although I try to make it as much universal and English as possible.

At the end I also want to say that it's not a clear prose - you can also find here poems which are an integral part of the story. Sometimes you can find more surpises there. I simply want you to feel like real album, diary. Great Lady's Diary.

Note No. 54. ROMAntic Day in Italy

10 th September 1820   Oh! I thought I would have written about England and Scotland today or maybe I would have started my new one-act drama, but my husband really like to ruin my plans… Yes! He took me for a romantic dinner instead! Unbelievable, right? What can I say? He just knocked to my chamber this morning, flowers in his hands (he said he picked up those field flowers by himself; I do not know where he found a meadow in Rome but ok) and he did not let me say a word – he just came and kissed me! And then he said, “Do not worry, my dear, I have prepared everything for you, my queen”. Ah, he is such a sweetheart! Then we left our residence (after breakfast and two hours of preparing THIS look; I mean my white-blue English style dress) and he knew exactly where to lead me – a little super cute restaurant.
