News From The Author

Hello! I haven't added here any new posts for over two years now, but I see you still read my story, and that's absolutely insane! Thank you! I'm writing this post to give you some news that you maybe don't know about. Well, I have published two books since I stopped publishing here - Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books... & Laura's Diary - My Awesome Life . And I got a new blog now. It's called Get Inspired ,   and it's about my own cultural news. Note No. 31. Story of My Birth

28th July 1819

C'est un bon jour pour l'histoire de mon anniversaire (this is a good day for a story of my birth)! I was born in London, anno Domini 1793. It was a little different time… Our country had not been dead yet, there was still hope… Such a huge hopeless hope! When my mother heard about signed Constitution*, I suddenly appeared on Earth because of her hard shock. My parents were traveling then around England. My little older brother was there with them.

O tempora! O mores!

When I was a little girl, I remember how my parents used to tell me stories about their travels. I heard that London was unbelievably boring and people ordinary and grey… I am planning to go there next year, and we will find out with William if it is true. We also want to check out other countries and cities. It will be wonderful!

I started writing my carnival play, which has a title Lost Poets’ Forest. That is a little crazy undertaking but a genuinely nice work to write. Only the content looks very… original. For sure it will be romantic, but not sentimental… After all, this word does not mean only the one – affectivity. Now I cannot say more because I want it to be a surprise, even for you, my dear diary!

I must stop writing now… The chaise longue is calling me with its mystical language… It is rainy, dark, and sad today… A human really REALLY wants to sleep… It is after dinner so I will be long, as my grandpa used to say. Goodnight!

*Date of Polish Constitution has been changed in my story (1791) but you can put here your American date too.
