News From The Author

Hello! I haven't added here any new posts for over two years now, but I see you still read my story, and that's absolutely insane! Thank you! I'm writing this post to give you some news that you maybe don't know about. Well, I have published two books since I stopped publishing here - Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books... & Laura's Diary - My Awesome Life . And I got a new blog now. Note No. 41. Time to Pack and Prepare Weddings

20th August 1819

Ah, so it is time to start packing coffers… Such news yesterday and more today! Two weddings! Ah! So much work in palace is waiting for me! I must project new chamber for our heir with architects, buy jewel-encrusted cradle, plan Catherine’s wedding with coachman, inspect the state of palace after our absence, order servants meeting, such a troop overview… What more? Take care of my health and appropriate child’s growth, waive horse rides for few months, plan William’s brother wedding with Juliette, it must take place in our palace necessarily… Still not all! Both weddings should be at the same time so literally everybody will have fun, then my play needs to be done during carnival celebrations… Ah! So many thoughts almost at one exhale! Ah! So grateful I am! So much work! So many things! Changes, changes, changes! Extremely thankful I am, my sweet Lord! My dearest William is next to me and two kids! Joy fill my bones! Grace and love fill my body! Ah! Suddenly thinking and writing made me exhausted… Time to put a quill down and rest. I must pack too, bien sûr.
