Well, I have published two books since I stopped publishing here - Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books... & Laura's Diary - My Awesome Life . And I got a new blog now. I also have a store with signed copies of my books, and there is a very nice merch that you can buy cheaper thanks to The Christmas Sale now. You can consider buying anything from me until midnight 27th December CET if you wanna save money and maybe buy presents. Oh, and I have a podcast where I talk about poetry and music. I mean it's an audiobook and commentary kind of thing where I talk about the meaning and inspiration that made me write certain works. It's called Romantic Wednesdays With...

Note No. 31. Story of My Birth

28 th July 1819   C'est un bon jour pour l'histoire de mon anniversaire (this is a good day for a story of my birth)! I was born in London, anno Domini 1793. It was a little different time… Our country had not been dead yet, there was still hope… Such a huge hopeless hope! When my mother heard about signed Constitution*, I suddenly appeared on Earth because of her hard shock. My parents were traveling then around England. My little older brother was there with them. O tempora! O mores! When I was a little girl, I remember how my parents used to tell me stories about their travels. I heard that London was unbelievably boring and people ordinary and grey… I am planning to go there next year, and we will find out with William if it is true. We also want to check out other countries and cities. It will be wonderful! I started writing my carnival play, which has a title Lost Poets’ Forest. That is a little crazy undertaking but a genuinely nice work to write. Only the con...

Note No. 30. Seeing Angels and Writing Letters to Poets

28 th July 1819 I closed my eyes and… Light. I saw an angel. I saw snow of the dress and face, I saw huge wings, and how he held his hand under me. He was praying. My angel! Thank you for watching over me. Thank you for your prayer and the blessing of your presence. I feel I am loved, and God is with me, He is by my side. Was it a dream? Was it a reality? Are you a ghost? Are you a ghoul? No… I see no blood on face… Too bright. Alabaster of holiness. Besides, I must write a letter to my dear neighbour. No, not an actress, this time I am talking about a poet. I will write her what I created yesterday and ask for an opinion. The relative calm at the court. Everybody busy reading books from our little library, or walks, or playing with Mary. Idyll by now. And we go further. I must go to write a letter. Until tomorrow!

Note No. 29. Music of Heart

26 th July 1819   My husband woke me up this morning. It was still dark. He gave me a cape and told to go with him to the same meadow as yesterday, wearing nothing. He really wanted to listen to a morning concert of nightingales. Let me remind you – you are very original, Willy! It was even nice to watch sunrise. We have not done this since we are married… It is good to come back to old traditions sometimes. And that is not all! When we went home, William took me in his arms, and we started slow dancing. Close to each other, remarkably close. I felt his breathe on my cheeks, felt his kisses on my forehead, even on my nose, in short… everywhere. It was sweet, it was touching. Music of our hearts is the only one we need to move us. I still feel it all… Until tomorrow then! Tomorrow I will start writing a script and I will tell you a story of my birth. It will be along and interesting tale! Or maybe something unexpected will happen again and I will have to let you know… We ...

Note No. 28. Poetry of Nature

25 th July 1819   My William is the loveliest person in the world! Today we went a little further than our bedrooms and cabinets. He took me to our living room, to our giraffe piano, and he played my favourite melody for me. I honestly love music and this human. That is exactly what I needed. Relaxed like this, I can start writing something poetical today. Maybe I could use it in my drama soon? And you dear William can stay in bed and memorise the smell of my new perfume or be useful and play with our little daughter. You can tell her stories; she likes it very much! Maybe you will inspire me… I will put my cute kitty on my knees, and I can start writing.   “Nature! You are like health! You are a real wealth! Nothing compares to you. You change every day. You are overwhelming. You change your colour. In the summer you are a golden spark and heaven mark; in the autumn you are juicy apple and syrup maple; in the winter you lose your pallor and oaks still have thei...

Note No. 27. Power of Water and Last Memory of the Wedding

24 th July 1819   Water! Water is so important! Water is clean! Water is life! Water is a medicine for everything! Today I have plans of my bathhouse in my hands. Gothic House will be greater than my brother’s palace. It will be my child, my eye, my clean gold. One day ladies will be dancing in the water, prepare balls, sing, and pretend instruments! It will be a wonderful place for friends to meet! Business meetings! Lovers will be coming for secret meetings at midnight! Yes! I am a genius! Okay but what happened next? I guess you wonder. I was outraged, that is true, but I am feeling better today. William did not let me out of our rooms even for a minute after it all. Yesterday and today we are the only ones who exist! The rest can do whatever they want to! Talking of dancing… I will mention about our wedding week for the last time. We organised a ball on the last day, but it was not such a normal ball – a masked ball! I had a beautiful heavy French dress, it was red...

Note No. 26. Romantic End of the Walk

23 rd July 1819   My husband and I sneaked out of our common mountain walk. In the pale moonlight we were going home, to our garden, to our arbour. Here he kissed my hand and… started telling me tender poetical words. - Elizabeth, my flower, shiny star! – here he fell to his knees – There no words which can describe how much I love you! I would jump in fire for you! Ask only! I will even jump in that cold dead lake! Lover! My lovely wife! Queen of my heart! I would do everything for you! I will scream at the top of my lungs how much I love you! – and here he started yelling indeed. - My sweet lover! You are more tender than poetry! Suddenly our strokes of sensation have been interrupted by swarms of fireflies. I have no idea where it came from, but it really scared me. William took me to his arms. Then we started laughing. - You are such a cute woman! Such a little thing can scare you! - And you are my brave knight, book lover and original man like no other! Do not la...

Note No. 25. Adventures in the City and Mountains of Love

22 nd July 1819   You will not believe who we met yesterday in the city! Yes! Juliette! She had not gotten my letter, but she learned in the capital city where we went so, she decided to follow us. My dear friend, you are very original! But that is not all! It was the first time when William’s brother saw her, and she simply has put a spell on him. How he was stuttering! How his eyes were eating her! Unbelievable! Then we all went to the church. Every word I heard reached my soul, like a different world. Word of the Lord cut right through me like a sword. I felt like truth was shown to my eyes only. We all should love our brothers and sisters! Servants too! They are all people!! They deserve to be treated like people! We should not do to others, what seems to be ugly to us! And obviously we all should take care of… trees. When they die, we die too. When they are ragged, our souls will be too. What is the most interesting…? Not everybody felt what I felt unfortunate...

Note No. 24. War Dreams, Medieval Castles, Wedding Theatres and Writing Books

21 st July 1819   That was so strange. That dream. A young girl in a short lace white dress. Too short by the way… On the floor, hidden head in her arms. And that awfully loud scream which I can still hear. The world was shaking. Suddenly some kind of power lift her up and there on the surface was… nothing. Nothing at all. But somehow, she was happy, seeing and feeling daylight going through her body. It was very mysterious and… beautiful and hopeful at the same time. Symbolical, I guess. That world was not alike to ours. Strange, like the second part of the previous dream. But why have I seen it all? I am happy and I do not think about anything else anymore. My William really loves me, and these mountains and times are idyllic now. Arcadia! Elysia! This green world of nature, clean blue skies, crystals of water can make you lose your head! Soul wants to sing with birds! You are in mood to nibble grass around sheep, win with wind while riding a horse, penetrate whole world r...

Call From Heaven

White dress, white my lace Wavin' on basement floor Lost in a brain maze But didn't lose my valour World I used to know falls apart Saviour, where you're at? Loosin' my mind, becomin' blind Saviour, are you comin'? Screamin' wildly, loosin' breath Bombin' continues to shake They want to kill my worth But this is a decision I make World I used to know falls apart Saviour, where you're at? Loosin' my mind, becomin' blind Saviour, are you comin'? Broken glass tastes like an apple Sand is my cinnamon All I got is a red leaf of maple Hidden in my black book World I used to know falls apart Saviour, where you're at? Loosin' my mind, becomin' blind Saviour, are you comin'? Bells are ringin', hand takes my hand Leavin' darkness, breathin' ruins in Every wall, rule and trench will mend We will breathe fresh green trees in World I used to know fell apart But saviour is among us Didn't lose my mind, I'm not bl...
